Photos of alleged Nokia Lumia tablet are off-center, look on the mark

Nokia may want to check it's pipes with all the leaked product info circulating as of late. Not only are images and data on the 41-megapixel Lumia 1020 flooding the web, today we also have a glimpse at the Windows tablet that might have been/is still planned from the Finnish device maker.
While Nokia pretty much confirmed it had a slate in the works more than a year ago, the images we're working with today allegedly show a prototype of a 10.1-inch tablet.
Some unofficial pictures show a supposed Nokia tablet in the flesh, albeit off-center. This particular machine was "dropped," a forum member on WP Central who dished on some specs said.
The first image depicts a device that's running Microsoft Windows RToperating system, visible on its large display.
The second leaked photo is all about the a matte-black rear of the tablet, which includes Nokia's logo hallmarking the middle of the device's backside.

Nokia Lumia tablet specs

The little that we see in these photos backs up some of the previously rumored specs.
The Nokia tab is said to be including an Nvidia Tegra 3 quad-core 1.3GHz processor and 2GB of RAM inside, and feature a 10-1. inch screen with a 16-point touch touchscreen on the outside.
Around the sides of the device will be an HDMI-out port, USB port and microSIM card slot.
Whether the tablet will take on Windows 8 or stick with Windows RT remains a big question mark, as the device's rumor history has indicated both at various times, but then again, the thing would have to be put into production for it to really matter.

3 GHz ARM processors to come by 2014

TSMC and GlobalFoundries, the global semiconductor foundries will be raising the bar of the processing power by 2014 as they are currently working on a 20nm chip for their next generation ARM based mobile processors.

At present, 2.3 GHz achieved at 28nm is the fastest clock speed by a mobile processor - it is used in the Snapdragon 800 and Tegra 4i that are set to arrive in late 2013 or early 2014. However, the next generation processors are expected to surpass this clock speed with the help of much smaller manufacturer node of 20nm.
The 20nm manufacturing node is expected to yield 30% faster clock speed with 1.9 times better density at 25% less power consumption. If the 20nm node is used, the ARM SoCs will be eventually clocked at 3GHz with more transistors working on the graphics. The 25% lesser power consumption can be potentially translated into a better battery life in the next generation SoCs.

Budget iPhone casing and iPhone 5S chassis captured

The purported images of the alleged budget iPhone just don't stop pouring in. This newest one comes from Taiwanese AppleDaily who also claims to have a shot of the iPhone 5S aluminum chassis.
According to the latest hearsay, the budget iPhone will be available in five colors - red, yellow, white, blue and green. The bezel surrounding the display will be white instead of black for all models, asprevious rumors suggested. Naturally, given the price-cutting needs of the alleged affordable iPhone, it's made entirely from pl.
As for the iPhone 5S, it'll look similar to the iPhone 5 it replaces, but with updated specifications. Some of them are said to include 2GB of RAM, 12MP camera and 4G LTE-A support. The display is reportedly a 4" IGZO unit with the resolution remaining unchanged at 1136 x 640 pixels, resulting in a pixel density of 326ppi.
Apple is rumored to keep the CPU of the iPhone 5S the same, but will upgrade the graphics from a triple-core PowerVR SGX 554MP3 GPU to a quad-core variant of the same graphics chips.
Some crazy rumors that'll need you to have salt around include a fingerprint sensor technology for unlocking the phone and verifying NFC payments as well as a LED light on the Home button that'll blink when the phone is unlocked.
The expected price of budget iPhone is $349, $449 and $549 for the 16GB, 32GB and 64GB variants, respectively. Apple should announce the 2013 iPhone lineup in September, so we'll know for sure in about two months.
